PM Modi की बनाई आधुनिक GIFT City का स्पेशल Automated Waste Collection Plant

00:00You must have seen cars carrying garbage from people's homes to the garbage storage every morning.
00:09But we are going to tell you about a smart city in the country where neither a garbage-picking car nor a cleaner is seen picking up garbage.
00:23This smart city in Gandhinagar, Gujarat is also known as Gift City.
00:30The Gujarat International Finance Tech City, built in 886 acres near Gandhinagar, is the first international finance service center in the country.
00:45It is home to national and international banks, IT companies, insurance companies and international share markets.
00:56Prime Minister Narendra Modi had set the goal of building India's first smart city in 2007 while being the CM of Gujarat.
01:07Friends, while living in Gujarat, when I imagined the Gift City, it was not limited to business, commerce or economic activities.
01:26In the imagination of the Gift City, the hopes of the common man of the country are attached.
01:35In the Gift City, the vision of India's future is attached.
01:42The dreams of India's golden past are also attached.
01:48I remember, in January 2013, when I came here for the inauguration of GIFT 1, people used to call it the tallest building in Gujarat.
02:03This was its identity for many people.
02:09But the Gift City was such an idea that was far ahead of its time.
02:19Along with the facilities of finance, the infrastructure of the Gift City of Gandhinagar is also unique in itself.
02:28The District Cooling System, Utility Tunnel and Automatic System are all facilities to collect waste.
02:37The technology in the Gift City is the number one technology in the AWCS system.
02:47This is India's first project to collect, segregate and further treat waste.
02:57The whole city is a zero-discharge city.
03:00The waste generated is further treated and reused in our horticulture, landscaping and building levels for flushing purposes.
03:10This is the latest technology in the city.
03:19The automatic system is installed in the Gift City to collect waste.
03:25It is capable of managing up to 50 tonnes of waste.
03:29This is the reason why you will not see any garbage truck or garbage picker here.
03:37Every building in the city will be connected to this system.
03:45In the future, such plants will also come under expansion.
03:49The Smart Solid Waste Management System has been developed in the Gift City.
03:55The waste is collected in a less humane manner.
04:01The waste collected from the towers is sent to the Waste Collection Centre 2 km away from the buildings using a vacuum suction pipe.
04:12The waste is then transported by a network of underground pipes at a speed of 70 km per hour.
04:20The speed and direction of the waste is controlled by a computerised console.
04:27Not only this, the waste is also recycled and used as fertiliser.
04:32The solid waste generated in the Gift City is collected, suctioned, segregated and further treated.
04:45The place where we are standing is our AWCS system plant.
04:48We call it the Automated Waste Collection System.
04:51It is also the central waste handling facility of the city.
04:55The waste generated from every building is sucked directly through a pipe.
05:04It is brought to the plant, segregated and further treated.
05:10The plant has a total capacity of 50 tonnes per day.
05:19The solid waste generated from the building is segregated and disposed in a segregated manner.
05:27The waste is then sent to every floor of the building.
05:32The waste is then sent directly to the collection chamber at the ground level of the building.
05:41As soon as the waste reaches a certain level, the level sensor is activated.
05:45The plant starts suctioning the waste in the automated mode.
05:50The suction is done in a vacuum system.
05:55The suction is done at a speed of 70 km per hour.
06:00Nowadays, there is a total pipeline of 5 km.
06:06Once the waste reaches the plant, it is segregated in dry and wet sections.
06:12In dry sections, the waste is segregated in 2D and 3D sections.
