00:00I'm enjoying it. I'm really enjoying it.
00:03I've got good reviews from my friends, family and people from within the industry.
00:12So, I'm enjoying this right now.
00:14Yeah.
00:15How do you feel about going on a trip to Kashmir?
00:25I wanted to get some fresh air from Kashmir, but I couldn't.
00:33I would say it's the love of the people there.
00:36We all know the beauty of Kashmir and the weather of Kashmir.
00:42Pahalgam, Srinagar, Gulmarg etc.
00:45All snow and mountains.
00:47But, the warmth of the people there.
00:51We shot for around two months.
00:53There were so many lovely people there.
00:56I think their warmth and love will stay with me for a very long time.
01:02We went to Kashmir right after the first episode.
01:05Tell us about the behind the scenes moments.
01:07Tell us about the moments that you remember the most.
01:14In the first episode, there's a scene between me and Shashank.
01:18That day, he was directing with Sudhir.
01:21So, I remember, before the shoot started, he came up to me.
01:25He put his hand on my shoulder and started talking to me.
01:28He said, I've heard that you're a very good actor.
01:30I've heard a lot about you.
01:31I'll see you today.
01:32And, it was a very intense and long scene.
01:35Throughout the day, we shot it in the middle of mountains and valleys.
01:39And, at dinner table, I wasn't expecting anything.
01:43He came in front of everyone.
01:44Again, he held me.
01:45And, I said, I spoke to him like this.
01:47And, he did a very good job.
01:49He's done a very good job.
01:51You know, coming from a man like Sudhir Mishra.
01:54So, that was really sweet.
01:56And, yeah.
01:57I felt good about it.
01:58In Tanah Abodh, there's a character which is very loved by the audience.
02:02But, how do you personally relate to this character?
02:07Firstly, I believe, before I start this, that violence can never be justified.
02:12No matter what you do, we can't justify violence.
02:17Now, secondly, coming to the character.
02:19Now, since I've taken the responsibility to play this character.
02:23So, I have to be honest to it, right?
02:25So, I really made sure that I can make him as human as possible.
02:29I can tap in his human aspect.
02:32So, when I was doing that.
02:34Then, there were places emotionally where I couldn't relate to Farid Mir, Al Dhamish.
02:39And, the sense of belonging.
02:43The sense of loss.
02:44A purpose in life.
02:46And, yeah.
02:48I mean, it was an emotional journey.
02:50So, yeah.
02:51That is where I could relate to him.
02:53Gaurav and Farid, yeah.
03:00Yes.
03:03With Ashutosh, he's my most favourite co-actor till date.
03:07I mean, we all know how good an actor he is.
03:13And, you know, we've seen his films and his work.
03:16And, we really admire him.
03:17But, after that action, when you're sharing a frame.
03:21When in the spotlight, the two of you are actually doing a scene.
03:24That is when you learn the genius.
03:26That's when you actually see the genius of Arshad Warsi.
03:30And, apart from work, he's the most hilarious guy.
03:33I mean, my blood must have increased after shooting with him.
03:35He laughs so much.
03:37Yeah.
03:39With lots of film, there is a lot of criticism.
03:41Correct.
03:42How do you handle that criticism?
03:44Yeah, I mean.
03:45I think, first of all, the audience can never be wrong.
03:48They are investing their time and money to see your product.
03:52So, I take it positively as much as I can.
03:55And, having said that, just try and work on myself.
03:59I mean, I do read all the reviews.
04:03I do try and see as many messages on Instagram.
04:06I can see as a feedback.
04:08And, yeah, I take it in my stride.
04:10I don't negate it.
04:12It doesn't affect me badly.
04:14But, yeah, I think, just learn from it.
04:25It happens.
04:27Yeah, but I feel.
04:29I knew when I came to Mumbai.
04:32That this is here.
04:34So, it's not like I came here and got to know.
04:37That there is something different like nepotism.
04:40I knew that there.
04:41And, when I came here, I was prepared for it.
04:44I had my own.
04:46I've had my own privileges in life.
04:48Like, they have their own privileges.
04:50They have some privileges here.
04:52I mean, I have.
04:53And, I'll never share.
04:54I mean, I'll never exchange those privileges.
04:57I mean, I've had the best set of parents, family.
05:00Childhood has been the most amazing.
05:02So, I've had my own share of privileges.
05:04And, these guys have their own share of privileges, yeah.
05:11Yeah, both of them were fun.
05:13I mean, how can I choose between the two kids.
05:18I think, it's amazing.
05:20Both of them have been fantastic in their own way.
05:23Yeah.
05:33What did you find?
05:35My first series that I started shooting was Broken But Beautiful.
05:40Okay.
05:41And, it was a character like an absolute all heart lover boy.
05:46I was going through a very rough patch in my life.
05:50When I was shooting for Broken before that.
05:52And, there were like lot of difficulties and stuff.
05:56So, to play that and to bring that niceness on screen.
06:01That warmth and that all heart attitude on screen.
06:04Was beautiful.
06:06I mean, it was a challenge.
06:07But, once it was done.
06:09So, I fell in love with that character Mushroom.
06:12It's called Ahaan in Mushroom.
06:15So, yeah.
06:16So, I've always had that.
06:18I mean, like all heart guy.
06:20Yeah.
06:21So, like you're getting a lot of love.
06:24Is there any specific thing that you'd like to call to the audience?
06:27This is the thing which I was most waiting for.
06:29Like, I was waiting to see this thing.
06:31What is this thing?
06:32Is there any such thing?
06:33Right now, I'm getting a very general feedback from people.
06:37That, suddenly it ends after 6 episodes.
06:40And, that it's over.
06:43So, firstly, I just want to tell them that.
06:456 more episodes are going to come.
06:46They'll be released in around 1-1.5 months.
06:48Most probably.
06:49So, that is one thing.
06:51And, what you've seen in the first part.
06:55It's a lot more.
06:56Because, in the first part, a lot of things have been established.
06:59So, it takes time.
07:00But, a big, big chunk.
07:02A lot of action.
07:03A lot of drama.
07:04A lot of emotions are in the second part.
07:06So, I want you to watch that.
07:08Thank you so much.
07:09It was lovely having you.
07:11So, at last, would you like to say something to your fans or what?
07:14Yeah, just keep giving me love.
07:16Watch Tanav Season 2 Part 2 when it comes out.
07:19And, yeah.
07:20Just waiting for your feedback.
07:21Always.
07:22Any further projects which you're working on?
07:24I have already finished shooting for one series for Ekta Kapoor.
07:27Which is going to come, I think, in a few months.
07:30And, I'm starting something in October.
07:32Which, I don't think I can talk right now.
