00:00PM, do you have any request to prepare the Halal report, maybe you can comment a little or something?
00:04Inshallah, it's almost ready, so I will announce it later on Rabu Day, let's see how it is.
00:11So the instructions have been followed, we have prepared a draft related to the Halal.
00:21And I think the area that we will cover is related to the suggestion to make Halal registration compulsory.
00:32Because of that, it will go through a rather long process, because I mentioned in the context
00:39because our foundation now, Halal registration is voluntarily.
00:47So we want to see if it is possible to make Halal registration compulsory,
00:56because there are concerns and concerns among Muslims.
01:01So the initial suggestion that requires a session on the matter,
01:08meaning later on, Jahkaim will call everyone, if it happens,
01:11if the cabinet agrees with the suggestion, then we will start the study in detail.
01:19And this study includes a session on the matter.
01:22And all the stakeholders who are involved, especially Duri-Duri Tuanku,
01:31because the Halal issue is a religious issue,
01:34and when it is a religious issue, it means it is in the domain of Duri-Duri Tuanku.
01:41So all the stakeholders, we will consult and we will get an overview,
01:50including the units, restaurants, users, etc.
01:55And after the detailed study is carried out,
02:01and the cabinet feels that this matter can be brought to the cabinet,
02:08then we will prepare the ministerial paper.
02:11And at the same time, we will prepare the paper for us to bring to MKI.
02:17So these are the two highest bodies in our country,
02:21which can determine whether there is a basis that obliges this Halal area,
02:26can be done or the other way around.
02:29One quick question.
02:31So when you say that all restaurants, right now the Jadah is all restaurants,
02:36wajib dan halal, and the government is studying this matter.
02:39So when you say, oh, is it for every restaurant in the country,
02:43or is it just for the Malay-Muslim-owned restaurant?
02:47I think this is very important that a thorough research needs to be done.
02:59Whether the mandatory certification of Halal is to be obligated upon
03:08different kind of restaurants or not, that will depend on the research done.
03:15So it is only a mere proposal at the early stage which requires depth study and research.
03:24So once the research, depth study is done,
03:27then only we can say whether it applies to all type of restaurants, Muslims or non-Muslims.
03:33So it's just a proposal.
03:35So I can't state exactly until we have undergone a proper and thorough research and study.
03:43And then PAS recently, they just made a comment.
03:45They say that the government should make the halal set from the Muslim and non-Muslim different
03:50so that the Muslim consumer, they can know better what they are buying.
03:55So what do you think?
03:56My response is just the same.
03:58I have to wait for the research and also a thorough study,
04:02then only I can see whether such proposal can stand or not.
