Floods claim two more lives as torrential rain continues to batter central Europe

One person drowned in southwest Poland, a rescue worker was killed in Austria and thousands were evacuated in the Czech Republic after heavy rain continued to batter central Europe on Sunday, causing flooding in several parts of the region.

02:41Romanian authorities said the floods had caused four casualties, damaged about 5,000 homes,
02:47and left 15,000 households without electricity.
