बीजेपी नेता नलिन कोहली ने मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे के बीजेपी और पीएम मोदी को लेकर दिए बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे जी कांग्रेस पार्टी के अध्यक्ष हैं, शायद उनको भी चिंता हो गई होगी कि किस प्रकार के बयान राहुल गांधी जी ने विदेश में दिए हैं। राहुल गांधी के बयान के समर्थन में ऐसे ऐसे संगठन उतर आए हैं जो आतंकवादी सोच के साथ जुड़े हुए हैं, हिंसा की बात करते हैं। राहुल गांधी स्वयं ऐसे लोगों से मिल रहे हैं जो भारत के हितों के खिलाफ खड़े रहते हैं। शायद मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे को चिंता हो गई होगी कि देश में जो हाहाकार हो रहा है, जो प्रश्न कांग्रेस पार्टी से उठाए जा रहे हैं उसको कहीं न कहीं किनारा करने का प्रयास किया होगा इसलिए सरकार के ऊपर उन्होंने राजनीतिक वार किया है। इससे राहुल गांधी जी के बयान छिपने वाले नहीं हैं। कांग्रेस पार्टी उन पर जवाब देने से भाग भी नहीं सकती।
