On Friday night, Dallas Trinity FC suffered a 6-0 defeat to FC Barcelona Femení in a friendly match held at the Cotton Bowl Stadium. The game drew a crowd of 5,387 enthusiastic fans.

Looking ahead, Dallas is gearing up to host their regular season home opener. They are set to take on DC Power FC on Saturday, September 30 at the Cotton Bowl.

00:00History was made Friday night right here at the Cotton Bowl with 5,387 fans in attendance.
00:10This has been a long time coming for the city of Dallas.
00:14Now a couple of weeks back, assistant coach Gavin Beast said this was going to be their
00:17toughest opponent of the season, but he also said this was going to be an honor and a privilege
00:22to host a team like Barcelona.
00:24No other football club in the world could be able to come into the city of Dallas and
00:28bring this monumental historic fan base.
00:32Now, what we saw tonight was Barcelona did hold 79% of the ball and the score did end
00:38in 6-0.
00:39Look, you can't control how good the other team is, you know, and the other team was
00:43really good.
00:44And so, you know, it was like, you know, don't be discouraged or down on yourself.
00:50You just played against a really fantastic team and the quality of some of the balls
00:55they played, like, there wasn't much we could do about it.
