Forge Dam Wood: Vandals tear up Sheffield brambles and grassland for makeshift BMX track
Vandals have wrecked havoc over woodland at Forge Dam Park in Sheffield in order to create a makeshift DIY track.
The damage to the environment has caused significant frustration for local man, Jonathan Cooper, 55, of Fulwood, who lodged a complaint with Sheffield City Council.
The vandals, reported to be a group of teenagers, had compacted dirt into a banked curve and create a ramp using a paving stone.
Sheffield City Council have issued a notice at the site instructing the boys to stop.
