00:00You said that our economy will go up to the 10th place.
00:06How far are we now?
00:10Actually, we are in the 11th and 10th place.
00:14The 10th place is Hong Kong.
00:15We are only 400,000 TEU difference last year, in 2023.
00:20The 10th place is Hong Kong's economy.
00:24But we can see that Hong Kong's economy is going down,
00:27and we are increasing.
00:29So, we are confident that we can reach the top 10 this year.
00:33We are on the right track.
00:34We can see our trend.
00:37In the first half of the 6th month,
00:39we saw a positive growth.
00:42There was a good growth.
00:466% in terms of the number of clients.
00:50We are confident that this trend will continue.
00:55Usually, the second half is better.
00:59At the end of this year,
01:01there will be a lot of export-import activities.
01:05So, we are very confident,
01:08and we have to work hard.
01:10That's why we have to make sure that
01:12there is high productivity from the operators,
01:15the investment companies.
01:16The investment companies have to help
01:19to solve any roadblock or problem.
01:24Usually, if there is a congestion,
01:27or a problem with the regulations,
01:29we will overcome it.
01:30That's how we facilitate.
01:31The job of the institution is to facilitate
01:34so that we can solve any problem as soon as possible.
01:39So that the operators can fully concentrate
01:42in terms of their operations.
01:44When all the roadblocks and problems are solved,
01:47the operators will have higher productivity.
01:51We are not worried in terms of the number of ships.
01:54There are a lot of ships.
01:55There are a lot of ships.
01:57We have to make sure that they turn around quickly.
02:00They come to port quickly.
02:02So that they can offload and unload their containers
02:06with high productivity.
02:09Then, we will become a face-to-face port
02:12and a choice port.
02:14Because there are many other ports
02:16that are facing congestion.
02:19If gradually, we can solve this issue
02:22and operate better,
02:26then of course, they will come to us
02:28as a Transhipment Hub.
02:30Because most of these shipping companies
02:32have to have a place to be a Transhipment Hub.
02:35So, what is the factor that makes this increase?
02:40What is the factor?
02:43Our government is strong.
02:45Our politics are stable.
02:47Our base is based on investors.
02:50There are a lot of ships that want to build in Malaysia.
02:55We have an open trade base,
02:58with American companies,
03:00with Europe and China.
03:02So, we contribute to the increase of the port sector.
03:07Because our trade value is increasing.
03:11And one important factor is
03:14that we are not only a Transhipment Hub,
03:16but we also have a local cargo.
03:18This means that our export and import capacity is very high.
03:22We have a lot of goods from our country
03:26that are exported through the port sector.
03:28And we also import a lot of goods
03:30because this trade has export and import.
03:33So, when the export and import value is high,
03:35of course, the port sector will be the happiest.
03:39And Sri Cik Khalid will be the happiest
03:41to see the export and import value increase.
03:45So, when the export and import value is high,
03:47of course, the port sector will be the happiest.
03:49That's Rumrah.
