00:00So, Joe, medical studies have shown that when a human spends an extended amount of time
00:08in a warm weather climate, that the blood begins to thin and certain other things begin
00:12to happen.
00:13Then, when you go to a cold weather climate, it takes longer for your body to adapt and
00:17sometimes disease can set in.
00:19Take a player like Keenan Allen, who has spent most of his time in a warm weather place in
00:23the National Football League.
00:25Going to Chicago, does that add into any of the reason that he may be a bust in the upcoming
00:29season?
00:30Age, hamstring issues, new system, rookie quarterback.
00:36You know me, Matt.
00:38I know you.
00:39Old guys and all of a sudden, you know, the cold weather.
00:42Look, Keenan Allen came into camp a little overweight.
00:45People can make all the jokes they want about it.
00:47That's not a big of a deal.
00:48Keenan Allen's an extraordinary talent.
00:50But he's number two in this offense and we just don't know what it's going to look like.
00:54Forget preseason.
00:55Preseason might be fun.
00:56Caleb Williams can make all the highlight plays he wants.
01:00It's when we get into the reality that it's going to make a difference.
01:02And they did draft Roma Dunzey as well.
01:04So I'm just tenuous on him.
01:06We talked about the players in that range.
01:09That's the thing.
01:10We keep coming back to the same thing.
01:11It's not just the player.
01:12It's in the range of that same area.
01:14Who do you want to take?
01:15And I just prefer the other guys that are in that grouping.
01:18Same thing with Josh Jacobs.
01:20I mean, what's so funny to me about Jacobs, Matt, is we're looking at him, right?
01:25He's going as 25th player overall.
01:27Here are the names of the guys going after him in the consensus ADP.
01:30Deebo Samuel, Sam LaPorta, Travis Kelsey, Nico Collins, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes.
01:35You tell me which guy you want on your roster.
01:37Who moves the needle there?
01:38Pretty much everyone you said there, you know what I mean?
01:42You don't necessarily have to hate the player.
01:45You have to hate the ADP.
01:46And that is the situation I think we're in with guys like Jacobs.
01:49And with Keenan Allen, I don't think it's that far off either.
01:52Keenan Allen has the same kind of issues.
01:54He is going as like the wide receiver, 35, 36.
01:58We're talking about Rushie Rice.
01:59We're talking about Dak Prescott, Kyler Murray.
02:03These are the players you're talking about.
02:04Even Jordan Love's a good quarterback value there.
02:06I think I'd rather go late quarterback there as opposed to taking Keenan Allen.
02:10All right.
02:11With the time remaining, let's talk about the offensive equal system going on in Philadelphia.
02:15What does it mean for Dallas Goddard?
02:16Look, Dallas Goddard missed some time last year.
02:19Goddard is a nice tight end, but he at best is probably tight end 12.
02:23So I would just look elsewhere.
02:25And now that Saquon Barkley is there, I think a lot of that intermediate passing work that
02:29Barkley is so good at eating up is going to get taken away from Dallas Goddard.
02:34That's my fear in terms of role.
02:36So again, I think the upside is fading fast.
