Should new houses be built on green spaces?

We ask the people of Cardiff for their thoughts on the possibility of building new houses on green spaces.

00:00I definitely obviously do support housing development and things. I think we definitely need more housing,

00:06especially community housing and things, more council housing definitely.

00:11Because with that rise of commercial properties and things, it's definitely not good.

00:17I wouldn't like to see them build on green areas, but I feel like there's obviously got to be that balance.

00:23I think it's a good idea to build more houses, but I don't think you should be beyond those spaces,

00:31because people need... There's been an issue where people don't have a third place to go, if you know what that means.

00:37No, because it's so good building homes, but when's it going to end? Do you know what I'm saying?

00:42We need natural space, we need green grass, we need trees.

00:47Affordable housing is something that you need, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to go around

00:52and rip up spaces where wildlife lives, because in essence, you're taking one house and turning it into another.
