01:31the Department of Health has warned the public against the harmful health effects of the oil spill. In a Facebook post, the DOH said
01:38that oil spill may cause significant health impacts such as nausea, eye irritation,
01:44increased blood pressure,
01:46irregular heart rhythms, headaches, and difficulty in inhalation or breathing, and many more. To avoid this,
01:52the agency listed some key measures include setting up warning signs around affected areas or nearby affected bodies of water,
01:59ensure that drinking water is clean and from approved water sources, and seek immediate medical assistance
02:05from the nearest health facility and health care professionals if experiencing any symptoms.
