00:00The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, or NDRRMC, reported over 1.3 million
00:07people were affected by combined effects of Super Typhoon Karina, Butchoy, and the Southwest
00:12Monsoon. In its latest situational report, more than 200,000 affected families sought shelter
00:19in evacuation centers. The reported death toll remains at 14, while there are two people injured
00:25and two others missing. Damage to agriculture has reached over 9.7 million pesos, while
00:32infrastructure damage was at 1.2 million pesos. Meanwhile, 29 cities and municipalities in
00:39Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Regions 11 and 12, as well as NCR, have been placed under a state of calamity.
