00:16This morning, several residents of Barangay Katipunan, Quezon City,
00:20were shocked when they saw a raft of people in their area.
00:24These residents made a raft,
00:27and attached it to a refrigerator while pulling their other companion.
00:31Pieces of wood were used to make this rescue boat,
00:35which crashed into another resident.
00:38The barangay said that yesterday and earlier this morning,
00:41they were still talking to the residents to evacuate,
00:44but no one listened.
00:46They did not expect that this would happen.
00:49There are many people down there who could not be rescued
00:53because the current of the water is almost reaching the river.
00:58The other families are still there.
01:02It's 2.30 p.m. and the rain is still heavy here in Quezon City,
