00:00Dunkaroos is the cookie you're drunk for as much frosting as you want!
00:03So how do you do your Dunkaroos?
00:05Super duper dip dunk!
00:07Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for those snacks and food items
00:12that we grew up with and will never forget.
00:15Fruity, chewy, sour in the middle, and creamy outside of it.
00:20Number 10. Toaster Strudel
00:22Decades before Gen Z was picking sides between Team Edward and Team Jacob,
00:27their parents' generation were making a much more important decision.
00:31Pop-Tarts or Toaster Strudels?
00:33Piss belly, Toaster Strudel!
00:36And for our money, it's Team Toaster Strudel all the way.
00:39I don't think my father, the inventor of Toaster Strudel,
00:42would be too pleased to hear about this.
00:44Introduced to the world in 1985,
00:46Toaster Strudel changed our ideas about toaster pastries forever.
00:50Sure, Pop-Tarts can be kept at and eaten at room temperature,
00:54while Toaster Strudels must be toasted from frozen.
00:57But that little extra time is so worth it for that flaky texture and better taste.
01:07Number 9. Goldfish
01:09Introduced to the United States by Pepperidge Farm in 1962,
01:13Goldfish crackers have been a staple of snacking for decades.
01:20Sure, they're cheddarly delicious,
01:22but it's that simple fish-shaped design that has made them the iconic item they are.
01:27It might seem silly, but it's true.
01:29Got any more of those little yellow, uh, goldfish crackers?
01:32We don't have any crackers that look like goldfish.
01:37Well, they're just eats.
01:39In fact, that shape is such an important characteristic of the snack
01:43that when Nabisco introduced a cheese nip that somewhat resembled a fish,
01:47Pepperidge Farm sued them.
01:49And won!
01:50Even Julia Child loved goldfish to the point
01:52where she would put out a bowl of them on Thanksgiving.
01:55And if it's good enough for Julia, it's certainly good enough for us.
02:01Number 8. Cosmic Brownies
02:04They aren't literally from outer space,
02:06but no one can deny that Little Debbie's Cosmic Brownies are out of this world.
02:13Yes, we all know that they are the same as Little Debbie's Fudge Brownies,
02:16but for the candy-coated chocolate chips on top instead of the walnuts.
02:20And nothing against walnuts,
02:21but what kid wouldn't take colorful chocolate chips over nuts any day of the week?
02:27Whoever came up with that idea at Little Debbie,
02:30we hope they got a raise and we thank them
02:32from the bottom of our fudgy, cakey, chocolatey loving hearts.
02:37Number 7. Rice Krispies Treats
02:40Yes, we know they make a cool sound when combined with milk,
02:43but does anybody really actually love Rice Krispies cereal?
02:47Rice Krispies.
02:49Sure, there are probably some of you out there,
02:51but even you have to admit that Rice Krispies are truly at their ultimate best
02:56when combined with gooey, melted marshmallows.
02:58And while Kellogg does sell pre-packaged Rice Krispies treats,
03:02we wholeheartedly believe that the ones our mothers made at home are still the best.
03:09Forget about those snap, crackle, and pop sounds,
03:12because we're all about the sounds of,
03:14well, whatever sounds melted marshmallow and Rice Krispies make together.
03:21Number 6. Handy Snacks
03:24As grown-ups, when we say cheese and crackers,
03:26we're talking about some gourmet crackers alongside a variety of cheeses
03:30from multi-year aged cheddar to a creamy camembert.
03:34But when we were kids,
03:35the most perfect version of cheese and crackers were the handy snacks.
03:39We would peel back that plastic cover to reveal a few decent butter crackers,
03:46some spreadable cheese,
03:47and that iconic flat red plastic spreading stick.
03:50Sure, the cheese was way too orange and tasted kinda artificial,
03:54but we loved it and the whole process of spreading it on those crackers.
04:00And if you don't think the stick was important,
04:03just check out the online petitions to bring it back
04:05since the Kraft company removed them in an effort to be more environmentally friendly.
04:12Number 5. Ritz Bits
04:14The original Ritz Cracker was introduced in 1934
04:18and has become a beloved member of our snack family.
04:23But if we're being honest here,
04:25our true go-to when it comes to Ritz are the Bits,
04:28those mini Ritz Crackers with cheese or peanut butter sandwiched between them.
04:36We all knew how good Ritz Crackers were topped with cheese and peanut butter,
04:42but not having to spread it ourselves was a revelation
04:45and was that perfect pop-in-your-mouth size.
04:48These things are an almost mandatory snack for any road trip.
04:52And while peanut butter is our favorite,
04:54we don't look down on those who put the cheese ones first.
05:00Number 4. Scooby-Doo Fruit Snacks
05:03Kids today won't understand why this one made the list,
05:06but that's only because the Scooby-Doo Fruit Snacks they know
05:09aren't the ones so many of us grew up on.
05:12The blue Scooby-Doo shaped ones is no longer an opaque light blue.
05:16In 2015, General Mills made the decision
05:19to remove artificial coloring and flavors from many of their foods.
05:23And while this is a move most of us would obviously support,
05:26we just can't get behind it when it comes to Scooby-Doo Fruit Snacks.
05:30And I do not get the same satisfaction
05:33that we all used to, and it is very disappointing.
05:37While the reformulated gummies might be a little healthier,
05:40they simply aren't as good.
05:42And they got rid of the Scooby-shaped blue one
05:44which was pretty much everyone's favorite.
05:46So new Scooby-Doo Fruit Snacks?
05:49Whatever.
05:50Original Scooby-Doo Fruit Snacks?
05:52Life-changing.
05:54Oh, and Scooby-Doo too!
05:55Number 3. Trix Yogurt
05:58Imagine yogurt flavored like your favorite sugary breakfast cereal.
06:01Well, beginning in 1992, we didn't have to imagine it.
06:06We could actually try it.
06:07All those fun colors you can see make Trix yogurt perfect for me!
06:12Because that was the year that Trix, the cereal for kids,
06:15not rabbits, became a yogurt option as well.
06:18Each little container consisted of two colorful flavors.
06:22And now we could take our Trix on the go.
06:24Coloring your world with two fruity colors in every cup.
06:28We didn't need milk, a bowl, and a spoon.
06:30We only needed the spoon.
06:32It was an idea that defined a generation.
06:35So much so that after the product was discontinued,
06:38the outcry was so great,
06:39Trix yogurt found its way back to store shelves in 2021.
06:43Trix yogurt from Yoplait.
06:45It's colorful fun!
06:46And it's just for kids!
06:48Number 2. Dunkaroos
06:50Dunkaroos are like the handy snacks of desserts.
06:53Because instead of dunking your crackers in cheese,
06:56Dunkaroos lets us dunk our cookies in sweet, delicious frosting.
07:00You can dunk a Dunkaroo in as much chocolate or vanilla frosting as you want.
07:04Being able to decide your own ratio of cookie to icing is amazing.
07:08Although we assume we're not the only ones to over dip
07:11and end up with no frosting left for the last cookie or two.
07:14But that's a price we're willing to pay for this awesome cavity-inducing experience.
07:18Dunkaroos, Dunkaroos, you don't just eat your Dunkaroos.
07:22That experience was taken away from American consumers in 2012
07:26with the discontinuation of the product.
07:28Thankfully, Dunkaroos jumped back into our lives in 2020.
07:33If these Dunkaroos are making a permanent return,
07:36we gotta get some of these other flavors back right away.
07:38Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
07:43Jello pudding pops. Pudding is good.
07:45Frozen pudding on a stick is better.
07:48Always root for J-E-L-L-O.
07:51Squeeze It. Sugar, artificial flavors, and a whole lot of fun.
07:56Go ahead. Squeeze it. Squeeze the fun out of it.
07:59Oreo Cakesters. We'll eat Oreos in any shape or form they come in.
08:04I can have my cake and Oreo cookie too. Yes, sir.
08:07Yogos. Chewy candy in a yogurt shell? Yes, please.
08:11As the hurrying haste of their chase surely shows.
08:14Slow go on the Yogos.
08:15Bugles. Tell us you put them on your fingertips first also.
08:19Then she eats the Bugles, finds a crispy corn crunch,
08:22and discovers with Bugles that she tastes. That's a blast.

08:41Bagel Bites. How many snacks inspired a rock operatic
08:46duet with Meat Loaf and Jimmy Fallon?
08:54Sure, we could argue that Bagel Bites deserve that number one spot based on that alone.
08:58But we don't have to make that argument because these are mini bagels
09:02topped with cheese and pizza toppings. And how could that combo not be number one?
09:08These were the iconic after-school snack for many of us growing up.
09:12And we probably all still have scars on the roof of our mouths from eating them too quickly right
09:17out of the oven. And we do apologize to our Canadian viewers who are probably now craving
09:22a Bagel Bite, but can't have one. They were pulled from Canadian stores in 2022.
09:28Which of these snacks do you wish you had in front of you right this second?
09:32Let us know in the comments, before you run out to go get it.
09:35And I'll make Bagel Bites. I love Bagel Bites.
