Oct 14 set for hearing of Isham Jalil's contempt of court case

The High Court in Kuala Lumpur has fixed Oct 14 to hear the prosecution’s application to impose a sentence against former Umno supreme council member Isham Jalil for contempt of court.

00:2325 had been rejected. Isham, whose full name is Hizatul Isham Abdul Jalil, had submitted
00:30the representation to make an open and unconditional apology to the judiciary over his statement
00:36in an interview regarding Datuk Seri Najib Razak's 1MDB and SRC international cases.
00:44The court also fixed September 25 for case management. Also present at the proceedings
00:49on Wednesday were DPP Ahmad Akram Gharib and Isham's lawyer, former Dewan Rakyat speaker
00:55Tansri Azhar Haroon.
