00:00Yeah, good. Relieved. In the trenches again, because that's what the Euros is about.
00:07And another penalty shootout win, which is another good moment for us.
00:11And a massive congrats to the lads, stepping up and taking them and executing them like they did.
00:17A massive congrats to the goalkeeper who saved one as well.
00:20He had it on the back of his water bottle that Akanji was going to go left.
00:23Yeah, I thought I had it well, but obviously not.
00:26Yeah, I did do my process and the referee stopped me doing what I normally like to do,
00:31but I still managed to save one and give the lads the opportunity.
00:35I believe in my mentality that I'm going to save at least one penalty in a shootout,
00:40which I did and the lads executed them fantastic.
00:43What did the ref say to you?
00:45He was just going to boot me if I wasn't going back on the line, so I had to play the game a little bit.
00:49You know England's history with penalties and they were five perfect penalties.
00:54That's seismic, isn't it?
00:56Yeah, the lads worked hard and executed them, what they were going to do.
01:02Still a bit nervous, even as a player.
01:05But we had full faith in the lads who stepped up to take the first five that they were going to execute, and we did.
01:11But Guy Osaka, I need to ask you about, because you know what happened to him in the final of this tournament three years ago.
01:17To step up as he did and take that penalty and score it, exercise those goals, but also to get the equaliser.
01:22What do you say about that?
01:24It shows character.
01:26After the Euros, he went back to Arsenal and he became their penalty taker.
01:31It just shows the character.
01:32Not just for Guy O, but what we have in the squad.
01:35Two cool, unrivalled, major tournament debuts this season.
01:38Both stepped up in the penalty shootout to get us in the semis.
01:41We've got a great togetherness and we need to recover fast and get ready for Wednesday.
01:47You know what happened in the last 16?
01:49You got a life with that incredible goal from Duke Bellingham that kept you in it.
01:53Now you've won this on a penalty shootout.
01:55Are you starting to think the nation is on the trophy?
01:57No, we're focused on the next game.
01:59That's what we all want as a nation, as players, as everybody involved in England.
02:04That's what we want.
02:05But like we said all week, the Swiss are a very good side and we've got to stay focused on them.
02:12The next one is either the Dutch or Turkey.
02:15We recover well and get prepared for that.
02:17Jordan, can you tell us a little bit about what it meant?
02:20What does that do for momentum and belief?
02:22We've had, in the last two games, two very tough opponents.
02:25If you've seen the games last night, they were both slog-fests.
02:30Every game is going to be a slog and we've got to be prepared.
02:33We showed our mentality tonight, our togetherness.
02:37I think togetherness is the word I'm going to use because that's what we have.
02:42We've got a never-say-die mentality as well, so we keep going.
02:46The manager on his 100th game to get that, having changed the game plan, changed the formation.
02:50What do you say about that, Gareth?
02:51It's a massive honour.
02:52We wanted to win tonight because it's a massive achievement for the manager, Marge and Steve Holland,
02:57and all the other staff involved.
03:00It's a great honour.
03:02I was in the press last night for the manager and he said he doesn't care about the 100th game.
03:06It was about winning tonight and I think we all think that.
03:09He's got to enjoy that moment as well.
