00:00Go ahead.
00:01Thank you. Thanks, Karine.
00:02Can you share any details on President Biden's
00:04and Vice President Harris's lunch today?
00:07Do you know if they discussed Vice President Harris
00:10potentially taking over? Do you know if that came up today?
00:13I mean, I just stated that the President has —
00:16is not dropping out.
00:17That's something that the campaign has shared,
00:19so I'm just repeating what the campaign has shared.
00:22They regularly have lunch,
00:24and I'm not going to get into private conversation.
00:27And I would also say that the Vice President spoke —
00:32spoke to CBS just yesterday,
00:35and you could see what she said herself,
00:37and I think that's important to note as well.
00:39I just want to also ask,
00:40you mentioned that President Biden
00:43got the cold because of traveling.
00:45So, is cold directly tied to him traveling,
00:47or is it just he got the cold regularly?
00:51What I can tell you is he traveled,
00:53then he got a cold. That's what happened.
00:56Go ahead, Michael.
00:58That's great.
00:59You mentioned a few times
01:01that the President's proud of his record.
01:02He wants to continue his work in building on that record.
01:07I'm trying to understand how that's relevant
01:10to an assessment of self-reflection by him
01:14on whether or not he's physically capable of continuing.
01:17I think it is an assessment.
01:18I think the fact that he's able to work across the aisle,
01:21get really big bipartisan legislation done,
01:24he's been able to get us out of the pandemic,
01:28able to get the economy back on its feet.
01:31I think that shows leadership,
01:32and I think that's important, right?
01:34He is making these decisions on behalf of the American people,
01:39and he's able to do that because of his experience,
01:42because of his wisdom,
01:43and I think that's all connected as well.
01:45We can't forget that.
