Thousands of Spaniards have been protesting about the number of tourists and being priced out of properties - have these protests discouraged you from booking a summer holiday in Spain, and do you support them?

00:00I think with the high demands, I can see why they want to protest and everything,
00:04but I think that Spanish government maybe should look into implementing stuff
00:11locally really and deal with it. It's not for us as a tourist to worry about,
00:16but I'm happy to go on holiday, it's not going to put me off.
00:18Apart from the problems for locals, it's actually quite unpleasant because there
00:23clearly is too much tourism in places like Barcelona and Amsterdam,
00:28which makes life pretty unpleasant for locals.
00:31The obvious way to limit tourism is to rise the prices and then you say you can only come
00:34to Spain if you pay a big tax and then it means the only people who can afford to go are people
00:39who are rich, which is also not ideal. I totally understand that they might
00:44have problems because it is their local town. I know that, you know, night times,
00:48party times, people can get a bit rowdy. However, I think maybe if some rules are placed
00:54that can benefit both sides, the locals and the tourists, it would be great.
