00:00In our latest satellite images, we can see the two weather systems
00:04even though the Intertropical Convergence Zone is almost outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:09And what is affected by this is the southern part of Mindanao,
00:13particularly the parts of Soxargen.
00:16It will bring cloudy skies, rains, and landslides,
00:21particularly in the parts of Soxargen and in the north of Davao Occidental.
00:26Meanwhile, the easterlies, or the wind that blows from the Pacific Ocean,
00:30will still bring cloudy skies, particularly in the parts of Eastern Visayas.
00:36It will also bring bigger chances of thunderstorms
00:39in the parts of Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon.
00:43In the coldest parts of our country, you can see that even here in the parts of Luzon,
00:47generally, the weather is still fair, the weather is still a bit warm,
00:50but it is still possible for thunderstorms to occur in the afternoon and evening.
00:53As of this moment, we are still not able to monitor any low-pressure areas
00:58or thunderstorms inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:02So, we are still not able to monitor any thunderstorms
01:04that could enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:08So, there is still a small chance, at least in the next two to three days,
01:11that we will have a thunderstorm.
01:13And we will give you an update as soon as we have an eye on it.
01:16And here in Luzon, this is what we expect to be the weather.
01:19As of now, a large part of Luzon will experience isolated thunderstorms
01:24when it is still warm in the afternoon.
01:27There is a higher chance of thunderstorms, particularly in the parts of Bicol Region,
01:31especially in the areas of Quezon and Aurora,
01:33because here, the easterly winds are blowing from the Pacific Ocean.
01:38And as I mentioned, we will still experience a warm afternoon.
01:41Outside, the temperature will rise to 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.
01:45In the daytime, it will reach up to 35 degrees Celsius.
01:48In the evening, it will reach 80 to 24 degrees Celsius.
01:50In the south, it will reach 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
01:53As of now, in Metro Manila, there will be thunderstorms in the afternoon.
01:56In Tagaytay, it will reach 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
01:59While in Legazpi, it will reach 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:03Here in the parts of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,
02:06we will experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
02:10The temperature in Kalayaan Islands will rise to 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:14In Puerto Princesa, it will reach 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:17There is a high chance that it will rain in the eastern Visayas,
02:22and in the western and central Visayas,
02:26we expect isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
02:30The temperature in Tacloban will rise to 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:34In Cebu, it will rise to 27 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:37And in Iloilo, it will rise to 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:40Along with the Intratropical Convergence Zone, or RTCZ,
02:44there is a high chance that it will rain in the parts of Soxargen.
02:49This is the area of Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani,
02:52as well as the area of Davao Occidental.
02:55So, it is still possible that it will rain in the southern part of Mindanao.
03:01Meanwhile, it is also included in South Cotabato Province.
03:05In the southern part of Mindanao,
03:07we will also experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
03:11The temperature in Cagandeoro is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:14In Davao, it is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:17And in Zamboanga, it is also 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:22We still do not have a high gale warning
03:24compared to our countrymen who will travel to the seas
03:27thanks to the expansion of sea vehicles and small boats
03:30in our neighboring countries.
03:32It is different to be careful when there are thunderstorms
03:34that can suddenly intensify the waves of our seas.
03:39And because it is the first day in July,
03:41this is where we expect that there will be a possible track of thunderstorms
03:46in the month of July based on our climatological tracks.
03:49Most of the thunderstorms pass through the area of Bicol
03:53to the area of Northern Luzon.
03:55It can also recur.
03:57So, usually, when there are thunderstorms,
04:00this is what is usually the track,
04:02mainly in Luzon, the area of Bicol,
04:04to the area of Japan.
04:08And even though sometimes our thunderstorms do not landfall,
04:10when the thunderstorms are in the northern part of our country,
04:14this is the time when we have enhanced winds.
04:20So sometimes, even if the thunderstorms do not hit the ground,
04:22the rains are still strong in the western section of Luzon,
04:26and in Visayas, this is the peak of enhanced winds.
04:30So we will continue to give updates when we see a thunderstorm.
04:33And we also expect that this month of July,
04:36two or three thunderstorms will be possible
04:39to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility
04:42this month of July.
04:44Meanwhile, our day will be popular
04:47later at 5.31 a.m. in Lulugbog,
04:49for 6.29 p.m.
