00:00The transfer news is coming thick and fast for Everton. We've discussed how slow the
00:13business is moving but they have made an initial signing and move in this window which can
00:18be positive for Toffees fans. What can you tell us about that and how important is it
00:23to keep the likes of some of their top players, like Gerard Brantway being probably the main
00:30Yeah, it's interesting because I think, you know, Everton fans will look going into this
00:34window thinking we're not expecting an awful lot, if I'm being brutally honest, because
00:39of what, you know, Sean's actually said, juggling sands and the director of football, Kevin
00:44Fell, saying we're going to have to sell players but, you know, we're not even in July yet
00:48and they've made the first signing. Tim Iriboyanam, I think I might have got that right from Aston
00:55Villa, very much a signing that Everton need. They need players whose value is going to
01:03increase, who've got potential, who can be coached because Everton have had those years
01:07where they've signed players up for big money on big wages and they haven't got anything
01:12out of it ultimately and that's how they've ended up in this financial situation that
01:17they're in. So yeah, a player who's on the up and obviously Lewis Dobbin go the other
01:22way. I mean, there's theories about profit and sustainability, both clubs helping each
01:28other out. But it wouldn't surprise me if this lad was on Everton's radar, as I say,
01:35because that's the ilk of a player that Everton should be looking at. Jack Harrison looks
01:41like he's going to be coming back on loan from Leeds United, which I think, again, coming
01:47back to the financial situation, you have to say it's a decent bit of business. You'd
01:51like to think that Jack Harrison will get better this season. We know Sean Dyche's
01:59system and he probably played too much again. He plays almost every week after his initial
02:06hip injury when he arrived and he rotates and maybe plays in the number 10 a little
02:10bit more, might be a little bit more from him. Everton's strongly linked with Jankuba
02:15Minter from Newcastle who has a really good season on loan at Feyenoord and it looks like
02:21Newcastle might have to sell for PSR reason of their own. And then, yeah, as you say,
02:26I'll go on Gareth Bramfoete. Everton have took a really hard stance on Gareth Bramfoete
02:30and they've refused to be bullied. And I think, you know, the reports where Manchester United's
02:34Jim Radcliffe and Cov sort of said Everton need a little bit of realism. Well, I think
02:40Man United need to get real because if you look on his performances last season, he was
02:45immense for Everton. He was top class and so he haven't sold Liverpool's top and then
02:52maybe there might be a couple of other sales. Andrew O'Neill has come out and said that
02:55he wants to leave the club in summer and it won't be absolutely disastrous. I don't think
03:02he's got a lot of potential, Andrew O'Neill, but does he quite fit Sean Dyche's system?
03:07Maybe not. He ended last season out of the starting line-up. So if Everton could maybe
03:14move him on and get a good price for him, it would help for the PSR reason. Then maybe
03:19they can look at bolstering other squads, another striker potentially, another winger
03:25and a left-back as well, I think will be on the list.
