Luke Littler produced an outrageous performance to brush past two-time world champion Peter Wright on Thursday evening, hitting an incredible triple-double 20 to seal a 6-4 victory.
The 17-year-old will now advance to the semi-final of Premier League Darts Night 16 in Sheffield and will take on Michael Smith later tonight after he defeated Nathan Aspinall.
The PDC World Darts Championship finalist started slowly by his standards against Wright, affording him a 2-1 lead in the opening three legs.
Despite that he'd bounce back, claiming the next three legs, notably hitting three consecutive double-20s to take a 3-2 lead over Wright.
His imperious performance stunned 'Snakebite' with the 54-year-old turning back towards his table before taking a big gulp of water as the crowd inside the Utilita Arena went wild at the 17-year-old's feat.

With Littler kicking into second gear, he'd go on to claim the next leg, before Wright produced two 180s to stop the teenager in his tracks and pull a leg back at 4-3.
But Littler would recover his two-leg lead soon after, going 5-3 up, and despite a late comeback from Wright, who took the penultimate exchange, Littler would close out the match at 6-4.
It means the Brit has now bested Wright twice in two consecutive quarter-final clashes on the Premier League Darts circuit.
The teenager defeated the Scot 6-1 on Night 15 but was subsequently thumped by Michael van Gerwen himself in the resulting semi-final.
Tonight's result means Littler will finish at the top of the Premier League Darts standings, having qualified for the play-offs at the O2 in London on May 23. He'll be joined by Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen - who have also qualified.
