Sheffield suffer first home defeat of the season, against Speedway Premiership leaders Ipswich

00:00 Sheffield have suffered their first home defeat of the Speedway season this evening, going down 47-44 against league leaders Ipswich.
00:13 Tigers needed to win Heat 15 to save the meeting, but although Ty Waffenden won the Heat, there was no way past Emil Seifutinov and Jason Doyle for his team-mate, Chris Holder.
00:28 Sheffield had taken an early lead after Heat 1, and again led after a 5-1 Heat advantage in Heat 9 when Chris Holder and Josh Pickering had beaten Jason Doyle and Keenan Roo,

00:55 But Ipswich pulled ahead after Heat 11, with Emil Seifutinov and the impressive youngster Dan Thompson beating Ty Waffenden and Luke Killeen to record a 5-2 Heat advantage.
