Nikola Jokic wins third MVP award, joining rare company of NBA legends

Denver Chunks focus Nikola Jokic was named the NBA's most significant player Wednesday, turning into the 10th player in association history and the primary worldwide player to win the honor no less than multiple times.

Last season, Jokic completed second to Philadelphia 76ers focus Joel Embiid, who couldn't shield his crown in the wake of going through knee medical procedure in February and neglecting to play in 65 games, the NBA's new edge for grant qualification.

Dynamite reporter Shaquille O'Neal then let Jokic know that he accepted Gilgeous-Alexander had the right to win the current year's honor.

"Much obliged to you, Shaq," Jokic said. "We don't pass judgment on individuals here. That is fine. It's your viewpoint. I'm kidding. Seriously, there are a ton of players that merit it."

Jokic, 29, found the middle value of 26.4 places, 12.4 bounce back and 9.0 aids 79 games, driving the Pieces to 57 successes and the Western Meeting's No. 2 seed. The main player in association history to match those midpoints was Lobby of Distinction watch Oscar Robertson in 1962.
