ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Robin attended York Memorial Collegiate Institute and became an art student there. One day in class, while Robin was doodling, the teacher, Ms. Shaker, saw Robins’ artwork. She called the class around Robins’ work, then proceeded to ask them what they saw within the work. She informed them that this is abstract art where people see different things. Robin was so impressed and humbled by the teacher’s actions and by the responses of her peers. That day stayed with Robin always––giving her the appreciation for a different form of beauty.
