00:00Let's focus on Rattler, like I said, obviously he started his career with a lot of fanfare
00:08at Oklahoma, loses the job to Katelyn Williams, who's now the number one overall pick.
00:13What are your expectations for Rattler?
00:15Could he be the Dak Prescott fourth round pick that takes over a starting job somewhere?
00:20I don't see it maybe in year number one.
00:22I think he needs a couple of years to develop, I think in the right type of scheme, especially
00:27with Shane Beamer, he elevated his game.
00:30You could go to one game in particular that he was lights out, 188 yards and three touchdowns,
00:36immaculate against Mississippi State, had a stellar senior bowl, had shown flashes at
00:42Oklahoma and South Carolina respectively.
00:45The two games typically that stand out for Spencer Rattler happened two years ago when
00:50you had Hendenhooker in Tennessee and he threw for six touchdowns in Columbia two years ago
00:55and he backed it up with a 31 to 30 performance in Death Valley and handed Clemson their third
01:01loss in eight years in the program at home.
01:06They trailed that matchup 14 to nothing, he threw for over 300 to lead the Gamecocks,
01:12but there was much inconsistency last year.
01:15He's not that tall, he's about 6'1.5", maybe 6'2 on a good day and that's a concern potentially
01:21when we see shorter quarterbacks.
01:23But in the right scheme, to your point, I think he could be a project.
01:28You know, I put it this way, I would take Michael Pratt is a bigger type of quarterback,
01:34he's a better runner, played at Tulane, RAW, played against, you know, Group of Five type
01:39of competition in terms of his body of work, so Rattler is more battle-tested and has shown
01:46the ability to move from Oklahoma with Lincoln Riley to Shane Beamer and elevate his game
01:51at certain levels.
01:53That's gonna be, I say, I look at this board, I say Seattle, but then Brian Dable is hanging
01:58out there at seven in the fourth round, I probably would bet the 380.
