ಪಿತ್ರಾರ್ಜಿತ ತೆರಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಮಧ್ಯಮ ವರ್ಗದ ಮೇಲೆ  ಪೆಟ್ಟು ಬೀಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವರು ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಬೆವರು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ಉಳಿತಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.ನನಗೆ ನೆನಪಿದೆ 1968 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ಠೇವಣಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ 18% ಎಂದು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ಠೇವಣಿ ಸ್ಕೀಮ್ ಇತ್ತು, ಕಳೆದ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯು ಶೂನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.
