Elle Jimenez, 34, has spent the last eight years performing as a mermaid at kids' birthdays or corporate events - despite originally being scared of the sea.
She overcame her fear and learnt to swim and now makes up to $8k-an-hour swimming in aquariums or performing with celebrities such as the Jonas Brothers, Bruno Mars and Dj Khalid.
