On the evening of April 16, at the 2024 Formula Leopard brand spring conference held in Shenzhen, the Formula Leopard "583" family - Leopard 5, Leopard 8, Leopard 3 (SUPER 3) concept car was jointly introduced and the pure electric supercar Leopard 9 (SUPER 9) concept The car was also launched for the first time. Leopard 8 has been officially positioned as the "super hybrid hardcore flagship SUV". It seems that its size is larger than U8.
In terms of appearance, it adopts the "Future Starship Aesthetics" design concept. Its general lines are square and solid, with a sense of power and technology. The front face has a bite-type structure, the insertion lock is solid and reliable. and there's also an oversized "energy shield". The air intake grille and front bumper also feature family style elements from Super Lock; The "Starship Wings" headlights and "Energy Propulsion" taillights are very recognizable, and the planetary ring replacement tire cover at the rear of the car belongs to the Highlight design, which belongs to the rear.
Leopard 8 adopts a "starship V-shaped" side shape and provides imitation metal cutting effect, good light and shadow effects. The ratio of body to windows is 3:1, which provides a wide field of view and offers a full volume and a feeling of full power.
According to currently known information, Leopard 8 uses a non-load-bearing body structure and front and rear double wishbone suspension layout, and is equipped with Yunnan-P intelligent body control system, which supports 140 mm suspension adjustment stroke and 1000 mm stroke.
In terms of power, the Leopard 8 can be equipped with a 2.0T engine and a plug-in hybrid system consisting of dual motors. The maximum power of the engine is 245 horsepower. Engine parameters have not been disclosed yet. The price of Leopard 8 is expected to be around 500,000 yuan and will be released in the second half of 2024.
Formula Leopard 3 (SUPER 3) concept car
The Leopard 3 concept car adopts the "interstellar chariot design aesthetic" and its overall shape has a science fiction feel. Its headlights were called "Star Wars Leopard Eyes" and many parts of the body were decorated with "Star Wars armor" design elements. The front face is equipped with "Internet of Everything Smart Screen Display" with emotional expression and personalized customization functions.
The fenders on the side of the body adopt a raised-shaped design, and the Star Wars stance highlights the power of the vehicle.
The double-layer linear Star Wars taillights are very simple and sharp, and the shape of the Star Wars flying wings at the rear creates a unique fighting stance.
