Mourning doves are renowned for their grace, but when it comes to ensuring their babies' safety, they can discard every last shred of elegance!
"I came home from work to find a mourning dove nesting in a wreath on our porch," the filmer, Katy, told WooGlobe. "I tried being civil, even asked for consent to see the potential little bird babies. However, Mama Dove not only refused my request but also scared the sh*t out of me."
Were there polite ways of declining Katy's offer? Absolutely! Could the overprotective Mama care any less? Absolutely not!
