00:00Houston 4 and 10, currently in the cellar of the five teams in
00:08the American League West. The Astros will host for the second
00:12time this year, at least in a series against their in-state
00:15individual foe, the Texas Rangers, starting today. The
00:18Astros, a home favorite. The oddsmakers still very much look
00:22at Houston, is it in a positive manner? And to Jack's point,
00:2514 games out of 162, a long time to rectify the issues. But
00:31Jack, as we look at the American League West, between
00:33these two divisional foes that face off today in H-Town, the
00:37Astros still the favorites at plus 115. Texas, the reigning
00:40World Series champs, the only team with an above 500 record
00:44at this moment in this division. So, at a certain point, do
00:49we look to the Rangers for value, or do we expect the Astros
00:53to regress in a positive way to the mean? I mean, it's not
00:57like Seattle's making this interesting either. Like, they're
00:59five and eight right now. So, it's a toughie. I would probably
01:05get in on the Astros while you can, because that bullpen is
01:09too good on paper, you know, for them to falter for the entire
01:14year. And then, you know, the offense, like you've got, you've
01:18got pieces in droves. Now, having said that, the Rangers
01:22have a lot of people coming back in the rotation in the
01:24same way that the Astros do. You're expecting Verlander back
01:27and Luis Garcia back. On the Rangers' side, you're getting
01:31Jacob deGrom, Tyler Malley, Max Scherzer back at some point
01:35this year. And varying points throughout the year, surely,
01:38but I don't know. It's tough. Those two are still the big
01:43two, in my opinion, the runaway, and Seattle's offense
01:46has not instilled much confidence in me whatsoever to think
01:50that, you know, they're a piece of that and can contend for
01:54a division title.
