ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಣಕ್ಕಿಳಿದಿರುವ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟರ್ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಅಖಾಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ವಿರೋಧದ ನಡುವೆ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಡೆದ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಯಕರು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
