Conservationists are celebrating a win against a plan to clear some of the last remaining bushland habitat for the endangered Carnaby's Black Cockatoo. The state government has refused a mining company's application to clear native vegetation on a reserve near Ravensthorpe, in the state's south to search for lithium. But the mining company says it will challenge the decision.
