Glasgow to lend the Vatican one of Kelvingrove’s most famous paintings

One of Kelvingrove’s most famous paintings is to be loaned out to the Vatican later in 2024, if the city council approves the move.

Glasgow Life, the organisation who run the art gallery and museum, have asked the local authority if Salvador Dali’s work ‘Christ of St John of the Cross’ can go on display at the Church of San Marcello al Corso in Rome.
