If you're a Trader Joe's shopper you may have noticed one item that has gone up in price. Bananas now cost 23 cents, which is more than a 20% increase for the fruit. A spokesperson for Trader Joe's said in part, "We only change our prices when our costs change, and after holding our price for bananas at 19¢ each for more than two decades, we've now reached a point where this change is necessary."
