Margaret O Driscoll - Too Sick To Play
  • last month
Too sick to eat, too sick to play
Tears flow down her cheeks today
Some pain relief, she still cries
Looking so sad, big watery eyes
She see the others having fun
Says today her 'legs can't run'
A warm blanket, a big hug
A warm drink, her favourite mug
The doctor calls, checks her chest
Prescribes medicine, lots of rest
I stroke her hair, she naps awhile
When she wakes, I see her smile\n\nMargaret O Driscoll
