A Brazilian football clip has gone viral after a goalkeeper angrily reacted to being fooled by an opponent's Panenka-style penalty.
The move has achieved significant popularity with many football fans following Antonin Panenka's successful spot kick for Czechoslovakia against West Germany in 1976 where he lifted the ball to deceive a diving shot-stopper.
But in Brazil - where the style of shot is known as cavatina or 'little dig' - a goalkeeper was less than impressed with the rival's actions during a penalty shootout moment shared on Instagram earlier this month.
However, the goalkeeper was offended, and chased after the goal scorer, before bumping him from behind just outside the penalty area.
Two of the outfield player's teammates ran to his assistance, one pushing Tadeu over, and another pulling him away, before other players both on and off the pitch ran across to get involved with the squabble.
While tensions were running high following the moment, both players were booked, and Luan's Goiania went on to win the penalty shootout 3-2, after a scoreless draw in the first leg and a 1-1 game in the return fixture.
Atletico Goianiense got the upper hand over Goiania in both legs of the semi-final to advance to the final.
