Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun to Step Down Amid Management Shakeup, as Quality Issues Plague Company
  • 28 days ago
Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun will step down at the end of 2024 as part of a management shakeup. Board chair Larry Kellner is also resigning and will leave in May. Boeing Commercial Airplanes head Stan Deal is leaving the company immediately. The departures come amid increased scrutiny over quality issues on Boeing planes. Airlines have been scheduling meetings with Boeing directors over manufacturing concerns. Calhoun has been working to address quality struggles since becoming CEO in 2020. He said the company must respond to accidents "with humility and transparency."
