Canadian students retrace their soldier ancestors' steps in France

High school students visiting from Canada retrace the footsteps of their ancestors who lost their lives during the Battle of Normandy in World War II.
The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, actively participated in the Battle of Normandy. In total, 90,000 Canadian volunteers took part in the battle, of whom 5,500 died.
