Despite declining iPhone sales in China, Apple's CEO Tim Cook is on his way to Shanghai to inaugurate a new retail store. According to a press release the new store is set to open on Thursday. Cook was recently in China back in October following reports of declining iPhone 15 sales with some analysts saying the weak sales was partly due to abnormally high shipments by the company at the start of 2023.
