Lady Bulldogs maul Fighting Maroons

Vange Alinsug and Bella Belen led the NU Lady Bulldogs to a 25-21, 30-32, 25-17, 25-19 bounce back win over the UP Fighting Maroons in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, March 20.

Alinsug fired 24 points laced with 12 excellent receptions and eight digs for NU, which recovered from its 5-set loss to defending champ La Salle last Saturday to rise to 6-2, third best in the league.

Belen, on the other hand, racked up 21 points, 14 receptions, and eight digs as Chamyy Maaya and Erin Panglinan chipped in 10 and eight points, respectively.
