Kate Middleton's Photo of Queen Elizabeth II Found to Be Digitally Altered, as Analysis Reveals Multiple Inconsistencies
  • last month
A photo taken by Kate Middleton of the late Queen Elizabeth II with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was found to have been "digitally altered," according to a photo agency. The picture was released in April 2023 to honor what would have been the Queen's 97th birthday. Getty Images flagged the photo after re-examining royal family photos following Middleton's admission to editing a previous portrait. The Queen's tartan skirt pattern and areas of the couch do not seem to line up properly, suggesting digital manipulation. Dark spots and color inconsistencies are also visible upon close inspection of the photo.
