Macy's celebrates 85th Anniversary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade®. In honor of the occasion, Amy Kule, executive producer of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, rang The Opening Bell. Ms. Kule will be joined on the bell podium by Santa Claus, as well as costumed characters Felix the Cat, representing the parade's first-ever character balloon and Babar, a long-time parade favorite.
