April 21, 2015: Day 2 of Counting Calories

Amberlynn starts off the day with rice and ground turkey for breakfast. Having the opportunity to cook with ground turkey, Amberlynn mixes it with rice and frozen veggies. She assures us that she likes to cook really healthy so she doesn’t put seasonings on anything. We get to see the new kitchen table Krystle’s parents bought. It’s bath day and luckily Krystle recently purchased some bath bombs for Amberlynn. Krystle & Amberlynn play with some clay making all kinds of things with it, but no “Gumpies”. For snack time we have blueberries, a cheddar cheese bar and pretzel crisps all weight out and portioned. Amberlynn weighed herself and the scale’s response was a bit of a surprise to her. We end the day with some advice, carrots are not bad for you. Krystle was able to help Amberlynn make it through her first day of counting calories and she made it through day 2 on her own.
