Trump's Motion to Dismiss Case Dismissed on 'Unconstitutional Vagueness' Grounds
  • last month
A Florida judge dismissed former President Trump's motion to dismiss the classified documents case for "unconstitutional vagueness." The judge has not yet ruled on Trump's separate motion to dismiss based on authority given under the Presidential Records Act. Trump's lawyers argued the PRA allows presidents to decide what is personal and what is presidential records. The judge suggested that the PRA arguments may have merit at trial but not enough for a pre-trial dismissal.
