Supermarket Sweep UK (S6, Ep 42 - Dec 3rd 1998)

Today's trolley dashers are Berni Richards & Anne Reith from the West Midlands, Richard Dyer & Steve Dann from Suffolk, and Nicola & Louise Wright from Wales. Dale Winton hosts and is particularly enamoured by the hapless runner of the Mini Sweep, who catches him out somewhat when he tells her that he'd love to give her the points but can't. "I bet you could," she replies. She makes one half of unlikely sisters, while the other teams consist of antinatal mates and a chap whose hairstyle fascinates Dale. Indeed Dale gets very double entende in this episode, which has an array of different points between the teams. But will it be so clear cut in the Super Sweep, or will one of the other teams upset the form book to earn the right to go for the star prize? When I tell you one contestant damages a mop that affects their cash total, you know that anything can happen!
