Two Tenby streets where parking that is considered indiscriminate and inconsiderate has been identified are to be tackled by Pembrokeshire County Council with the introduction of new restrictions.
The Council has advertised proposals to change waiting restrictions on various roads across the County, with public notices to be displayed on site and plans illustrating the proposed restriction changes which have been outlined.
In Tenby on the South Parade, plans are in place to remove indiscriminate parking around the perimeter of the seaside town’s historic Five Arches.
The installation of double yellow line waiting restrictions and kerb blips are to be introduced to prevent motorists from parking around the Five Arches landmark that form part of the Town Walls.
The restrictions will mark prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading at any time.
Along The Croft, the installation of prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading at any time restrictions are to be introduced from its junction with the Norton to its junction with the property known as St Stephens.
The proposal is to remove parking on the busy junction, which is nearby to the main route into the Walled Town.
