The North Korean drills involve frontline artillery units, putting Seoul, the capital of South Korea, at risk. Kim emphasized the importance of quick and ruthless strikes during wartime. These drills highlight the danger posed by North Korea's long-range artillery guns to Seoul, which is 25 to 30 miles from the border.
