Asawa Ng Asawa Ko tells the story of Cristy (Jasmine Curtis-Smith), Jordan (Rayver Cruz) and their daughter Tori (Kzhoebe Nicole Baker). They’re the epitome of a happy family, but things changed when Cristy was kidnapped by the armed group KALASAG. For four years, Cristy was held captive by KALASAG.

Thinking that Cristy has died already, Jordan marries their friend Shaira (Liezel Lopez), and she becomes the mother figure for Tori.

To everyone's shock, Cristy resurfaces and tries to reclaim her old life. Will she fight for the love of her life after all that she'd been through? Can she prove that love is worth fighting for now that her daughter has wholeheartedly accepted her stepmom? Can she get Jordan back from the arms of Shaira?

Joining Jasmine, Rayver, and Liezel in this upcoming GMA Prime series are Martin Del Rosario and Joem Bascon. Also starring in Asawa Ng Asawa Ko are Kim De Leon, Luis Hontiveros, Patricia Coma, Bruce Roeland, Crystal Paras, Jeniffer Maravilla, and Ms. Gina Alajar with Billie Hakenson, Quinn Carillo, and Mariz Ricketts.

Asawa Ng Asawa Ko is under the helm of Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Assistant Vice President for Drama Ali Marie Nokom-Dedicatoria, Program Managers Edlyn Tallada-Abuel and Dennis Joi K. Bentulan, Executive Producer Erwin Hilado, Senior Associate Producer May Robles Borja, and Junior Associate Producer Haira Jean Gonzales-Tinaja.

The show's creative team is composed of head writer Agnes Gagelonia-Unigan, creative head Richard "Dode" Cruz, creative consultant Des Garbes-Severino, creative director Aloy Adlawan, writers Renei Dimla, Glaiza Ramirez, Marlon Miguel, and Renato Custodio, and brainstormers Merlyn Bunyi and Loi Argel Nova.
