The chosen : season 4 official traitor
"Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." That was the central theme of Season 3. Jesus spoke these words to a multitude of people before also uttering them to Simon while they stood on the water. In Season 4, however, Jesus himself is weary and burdened, in need of rest.

As we draw nearer to Jerusalem, the weight of what lies ahead becomes increasingly evident. Jesus feels a growing frustration and, yes, sadness. It's not because he's approaching his own death, but rather due to the reasons he must die. Whether it's the religious leaders of his faith, the revered city of Jerusalem, or even his own friends and followers, people fail to comprehend the true purpose of his mission. Therefore, Jesus must allow painful events to unfold and set in motion certain perplexing or bittersweet circumstances that will expedite the outcomes leading to Holy Week.

Season 4 represents the midpoint of the most renowned and impactful narrative in human history. It will be filled with both anguish and jubilation. It will be bittersweet. Yet, by all accounts, Season 4 will also be our finest installment.
