Birmingham City Council has approved budget cuts that will include a 21% council tax increase and cuts to key services over the next two years. Councillors voted on the cuts that will see the loss of up to 600 council jobs, bin collections reduced to fortnightly, as well as cuts to adult social care and children's services.

Tributes have been paid to the 'bright and fun-loving' girl who was tragically found dead at a house in Rowley Regis on Monday. West Midlands Police have named the girl who was found dead as Shay Kang.

Footage shows a banned Audi driver who had a toddler in the back seat ram a police car during a high-speed chase. Demetrious Nickoloau sped off after officers tried to pull him over for running a red light.
